This group has been meeting every Monday evening from 6:00 -7:30 pm and is open to anyone. The group has had as many as ten and as few as two on any given night. Not all our members are from St. Patrick’s. We have some who have attended that are from other surrounding churches and others from the neighborhood of greater St. Patrick’s. We have also had some of the women from Hope Rising attend. We invite anyone to attend to see what we are about. On any given night, you will find people knitting, quilting or, perhaps, working on items to be sold at the church fair, like painted bird houses. We often display our crafts around the Shamrock Room. The conversations are great and the crafts are beautiful. One can really see the Spirit in those creative crafts.
We help one another sometimes. We have helped each other with projects, all the while sharing in wonderful conversation. If you have always wanted a group to create with, would like to work on your creation or enjoy teaching others about your craft, while sharing stories of your daily life with others, why not consider joining us.
We continue to knit prayer shawls for those in need of being wrapped in prayer. If you know anyone who could benefit from the support of a prayer shawl, please let Fr. Rick, Deacon Peggy or Lisa Chambers know.
