We will be holding a faithful discussion group to discuss the book Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman onsite at St Patrick’s on the first and third Monday of the month starting on March 6 at 6:30 pm.

Howard Thurman was a contemporary, close friend, and spiritual advisor to Martin Luther King Jr. His book, Jesus and the Disinherited, is an exploration of how Jesus’s life of suffering, pain and overwhelming love can act as a template for how we respond to poverty, racism, and spiritual disengagement. I hope you will all join me to discuss this excellent book!
