Growing in God's Love as an Open, Caring Community

Announcements – June 2, 2019

We would like to welcome the The Rev. William Blaine Wallace who is our celebrant this morning.

In this time leading to the season of Pentecost, the St. Patricks Living Local: Joining God Guiding Team would like everyone to think about their answer to this question: “How are you engaging WITH others in the world?”  Write ways you as a person of faith are being WITH others on the stickies provided on Sunday and place them in the collection plate.

Our Easter Season Meditation Service is this Thursday, June 6 @ 6:30. Our theme is “Hope”
“In this Season of Easter we renew our faith as people of hope. We receive the word of God for the light times and for the dark times, and we commit ourselves to be with him wherever he leads us.”
Join us for this peaceful moment in time.

“It is a time to rest in God, to let the words listened to and sung penetrate our being.”

The consecration of the 10th Bishop of Maine, the Rev. Thomas Brown, will be held at St. Luke’s Cathedral at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 22. There are still 4 tickets for viewing the consecration on a live stream, which the bishop says will be of “high quality.”  These tickets get you into the cathedral,  but will be seats in a viewing room and you will be able to attend the reception afterwards on the cathedral grounds. Ask Father Rick for the ticket.
