How to be true to our faith tradition when talking public policy or politics?

How does our faith strengthen, energize, ground and give clarity to how we address    public policy questions of the day?

How does your faith tradition inform your response to poverty?

We will have four faith leaders discuss these issues, followed by small group conversations. In addition, we will also have updates from areas that FLIA focuses on including affordable childcare, food justice and transportation equity.

Interested in attending or wondering what FLIA up to?  Pick up a flyer in the Commons Room or check out our website for more information or speak to our FLIA reps: Rev. Peggy Day, Mary Ann Perry, and Rev. Lev Sherman who represent St. Patrick’s on the Board of Faith Linking in Action

A message from Mildred and her family:

Hi Peggy,

Wanted to thank everyone for signing the huge Easter card for Mum and getting it over to her.  We spent the morning with her and found it the next day … she loved the signatures from Max and Charlie!!  Would love to get her to church but she keeps falling and ending up at the ER so the staff doesn’t think it’s a very good idea.

Please keep her in your prayers as I know you have all along.

With love from Mildred, Barb & Sue
