Living Local: Joining God.  Lent is a time to pause and a time for reflection. For the first three weeks of Lent the Guiding Team will be displaying on the back wall of the Worship Space questions to reflect upon in your prayer time. This week’s question is: Where is God’s Spirit leading me?

Our Lenten Meditation Service will be Thursday, April 4 @ 6:30. Our leader will be Tom White-Hassler. Join us for scripture, prayer, meditation and song.

Prayer list updates: Larry and Bonnie Puls are the new contact people for creating the prayer list.  If you would like to add or delete someone from the prayer list you can add your request in the common room or contact the Puls’ at or 942-1321 or find their contact information in the new green directory.

New church directory.  If you have not yet received the new green church directory, please ask an usher for a copy.

The Maine Counsel of Churches Advocacy Days at the State House are March 25 and 26. See a flyer in the Common Room for details, and registration and if interested in going, check with Mary Ann Perry about carpooling.

St. John’s Episcopal Church is offering a series entitled INTRODUCTION TO ISLAM: What I wanted to learn about Islam and never asked.  The series is on four consecutive Thursday evenings which includes a simple meal.  The series is on March 14,21, 28 and April 4 at 6:00 PM (presentation begins at 6:45). There is no obligation to attend all four.   For further information,  pick up a flyer in the Common Room.
