Next Monday, the meditation circle will gather 3:45-4:45.
Next Tuesday, SpiritualiTEA meets 5:30-6:00.
Please mark your calendar for three December events at the Wilson Center:
Wednesday, Dec. 5, 6-8 pm: After our weekly dinner, we’ll have a discussion about with Sr. Miriam Devlin, a Wilson Center board member who will share her recent experience at the Parliament of World Religions in Toronto. This will be a good chance to hear about interfaith dialogue on a global level.
Monday, Dec. 10, 7-8 pm: A meditative prayer service in the tradition of Taize (an ecumenical Christian monastery in France,, hosted by the Wilson Center and co-sponsored with Black Bear Catholic/the Newman Center. This is a good chance to take a deep breath before finals! As the days get shorter and the semester winds down, we’ll host this quiet candlelight service with meditative music and readings in multiple languages–followed by hot chocolate and snacks! (People from any religious background or none are welcome to join in, as participants or observers, as you wish.)
Wednesday, Dec. 12, 6-8 pm: Our final dinner + dialogue of the semester. Join us for a “comfort-food” supper followed by cookies and holiday stories from around the world.
